Built from the ground up for today’s digital home, the Escient Vision™ Series is comprised of three new products: an all in one server/player, an audio/video player, and a large capacity media server that provide the most sought after features for today’s digitally connected home.

Continuing Escient’s unmatched excellence in integrating digital media management systems into state of the art audio/video systems, the Vision™ series supports the proven external control capabilities of Escient Fireball Media Management product line.

VS-100 and VS-200 server/player

The all in one server/player, the VS model, comes in two versions, the VS-100 and VS-200. The VS-100 provides dual 500GB drives while the VS-200 provides dual 1TB drives, both feature reliable RAID 1 redundancy. Stand-alone the VS server/player allows the user to import movies, music, and photos to the hard drive for management and playback. The VS-100 and VS-200 have storage capabilities of about 100 and 200 movies respectively.

VC-1 audio/video zone player

The VC-1 is the networked audio/video zone player, that can stream audio and video from Vision™ servers, allowing playback of music, movies, and photos from any room of the home. The VC-1 also has a front panel DVD/CD drive that can be used for single disc play or even direct import to a VS or VX server.

VX-600 large capacity media server

The large capacity media server called the VX-600 features four 1TB drives in a RAID 5 configuration and provides unlimited storage expansion for Vision™ VS and VC devices. The VX-600 provides advanced early detection monitoring systems for reliable installations in any networked home.
