Escient Vision Control Module for Marantz and Pronto Remotes
DMi D&M Installation Europe has introduced an IP control module for the bi-directional control of Escient Vision media players from the Marantz RC9001 and Philips TSU9600 & TSU9800 Pronto touch-screen universal remote control handsets.
Enabling the Vision OSD GUI on the Marantz and Pronto handsets provides control of the platform without having to switch on a TV; e.g. browsing the movie library without interrupting the programme being watched, or managing and listening to music files or streaming audio throughout the home without using a TV. The module also enables the browsing and viewing of photos directly on the handset, as well as the viewing and editing of Vision setup parameters.

multi-zone tuner, which is equipped with dual independent AM/FM tuners,
each cable of storing up to 56 of your favorite stations.
The modular
expansion capability provides 4 open tuner expansion slots, allowing
optional slide-in tuner modules to be easily installed. 3 optional
tuner modules are available – choose the ACD-AMFM card for expanded
AM/FM tuning capability. Mix and match any of
the available tuner cards to suit your listening preferences.
Custom
Integrators will appreciate the web-based programming functionality,
third party remote control system compatibility and Remote Access via
the Ethernet connection, which also provides firmware update
capability.
An RS-232C serial port allows another port of control with
popular home automation systems, and the infrared input/output ports
provide additional control flexibility.
Reference Video Processor with Denon’s High Quality Circuitry and Build
Denon’s DVP-602CI video processor and HDMI switcher
solves two vexing problems facing HDTV owners. Most HDTV sets don’t do
a very good job of upconverting standard definition sources such as
DVD, and many 1080p HDTV sets are similarly ill-equipped to correctly
upconvert interlaced 1080i HDTV, cable and satellite signals, with
artifacts such as objectionable “jaggies” spoiling the picture.
And,
with the growing number of HDMI-equipped sources, such as cable and
satellite tuners, Blu-ray and HD DVD players and HD gaming consoles,
most HDTV sets simply aren’t equipped with a sufficient number of HDMI
inputs. The DVP-602CI solves both problems, and
features the top-performing HQV Realta video processing engine that
provides near-HD picture quality with standard definition sources such
as DVD, and allows pristine, artifact-free high definition
reproduction.
As well, the DVP-602CI features 6 HDMI
inputs to accommodate a full suite of source components, along with a
wide range of output resolutions to match the native resolution of any
HDTV set or PC monitor.
12 Channel Multi-Zone Power Amplifier for audio distribution
For whole-house audio distribution, the POA-3012CI provides the custom integrator with a host of configuration and control
options, including the ability to provide multiple mono, stereo and
bridged (high power) outputs to drive speakers anywhere in the home.
Each of the 12 power amplifier channels features the latest digital
amplifier technology for superb sound along with cooler running and
reliability. Each channel is rated at 30 watts (8 ohms), with assured
reliability 4 ohms drive capability.
For more output, channel pairs can
be bridged, providing 120 watts output (8 ohms), ideal for driving
in-wall subwoofers, for example.
Designed for easy setup and
installation, the POA-3012CI features front panel
controls for configuration, level setting, and other adjustment
options, along with a front panel lock control that prevents
inadvertent user mis-adjustment.
The rear panel’s Ethernet IP port
features web-enabled setup and configuration, and an RS-232C serial
port provides additional control options.
